Miracle on 14th street
"Miracle on 14th St." began in December 2009, that year, we welcomed over 600 folks in our community on Christmas Eve, provided them a meal and gave away coats and toys to those who needed them. That number has grown each year, with over 1200 people passing through our doors for a meal, coats, and children's gifts in 2010 and again in 2011. In December of 2012 - 2015 an estimated 1500-1700 folks attended each year. Last year we distributed over 1000 coats! It is all due to the generous donations of our community and congregation, and the 200+ volunteers from around the community who come together on this glorious morning to reflect and embody the true miracle of giving. We have plenty of storage for donations - so if you would like to be part of the "Miracle", you can drop off New Coats and/or Toys at FCC any time!
This year "Miracle on 14th St." is on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. We're adding a Brown Bag filled with grocery items for each of the families that attend - If you would like a Brown Bag to fill with the needed items, have any questions or want to get involved please contact Peggy Hicks at email@example.com by email or 479-273-2596 by phone!
